 Water Pollution & Remediation

The project "Water Pollution & Remediation" concerns my knowledge and perception about water pollution, as well as my scientific work finilised to the remediation of contaminated sites. This is one of my research topics and artworks related to this project show my emotional involvement in fighting against environmental pollution, with emphasis on aquatic environments. Plastics and other "contaminants" are used together with enamel to describe unnatural settings on canvas (such as, for example, the cahotic waves in "Plastic waves") or the only enamel is used to describe contaminated environments where I am working to reclaim them (e.g., "Over the redland", 2017; "Flowing in a snowy sky", 2017).

Il progetto "Water Pollution & Remediation" ruota intorno alle mie conoscenze ed alla mia percezione dell'inquinamento delle acque e della bonifica dei siti contaminati. Le opere relative a questo progetto sono frutto del mio coinvolgimento emotivo nell'impegno contro l'inquinamento dell'Ambiente, con particolare riferimento agli ambienti acquatici. Plastiche ed altri "contaminanti" vengono usati con lo smalto ad acqua per descrivere scenari innaturali (come, ad esempio, le onde caotiche in "Plastic Waves"). In altre opere, il solo smalto ad acque viene utilizzato per descrivere siti contaminati oggetto del mio lavoro di bonifica (ad esempio, "Over the redland", 2017; "Flowing in a snowy sky", 2017).

 

 

Water Scarcity & Aquatic Environments Preservation

The project "Water Scarcity & Aquatic Environments Preservation" concerns my knowledge and perception about climate change and its impact on water scarcity / desertification, as well as my scientific work finilised to safe drinking water search and mitigation of climate change effects. This is one of my research topics and artworks related to this project show my emotional involvement in searching safe drinking water (e.g., "Searching Water", 2013) and minimising the negative impacts on groundwater-dependent ecosystems (e.g., "Dry and Wetlands", 2017). These artworks often describe pristine and quiet aquatic environments (e.g., "Foggy Lake", 2013), where people can live free and decide what they will do (e.g., "Horizon", 2013).

Il progetto "Water Scarcity & Aquatic Environment Preservation" è incentrato sulle mie conoscenze e sulla mia perzione dell'impatto che i cambiamenti climatici hanno in termini di depauperamento delle risorse idriche e desertificazione, nonché sulla ricerca di risorse idriche di buona qualità e di soluzioni per mitigare gli effetti negativi dei mutamenti del clima. Le opere relative a questo progetto sono frutto del mio coinvolgimento emotivo nell'attività di ricerca di acqua potabile (ad esempio, "Searching Water", 2013), nella minimizzazione degli impatti negativi sugli ecosistemi acquatici (ad esempio, "Dry and Wetlands", 2017). Queste opere mostrano spesso ambienti incontaminati e sereni (ad esempio, "Foggy Lake", 2013), in cui chiunque può vivere libero e proiettato nel futuro che desidera per sé (ad esempio, "Horizon", 2013).

 

Exploring (Wo)Men & Myself

The project "Exploring (Wo)Men & Myself" concerns my curiosity about human nature. It is dedicated to the investigation of the biological (e.g., "Woman's Fertility", 2012) and social (e.g., "Deep Group Discussion", 2013) factors that influence human behavior. It talks about people's interactions (e.g., "Friend's betrayal", 2012), human love (e.g., "Female and male", 2013), human suffering (e.g., "Crying", 2013) and dreaming (e.g., "Dream", 2013), optimism (e.g., "Going behind", 2020). It investigates my rational (e.g., "Mental selfportrait", 2013) and irrational (e.g., "Shout", 2013) behavior. It condemns the violence against women (e.g., "Violated", 2013) and migrants (e.g., "Migrant", 2018).

Il progetto "Exloring (Wo)Men & Myself" è frutto della mia curiosità verso la natura umana. Le opere relative a questo progetto sono incentrate su fattori biologici (ad esempio, "Woman's Fertility", 2012) e sociali (ad esempio, "Deep Group Discussion", 2013) che influenzano i comportamenti umani. Descrivono interazioni interpersonali (ad esempio, "Friend's betrayal", 2012), amore (ad esempio, "Female and male", 2013), sofferenza (ad esempio, "Crying", 2013), sogni e desideri (ad esempio, "Dream", 2013), ottimismo (ad esempio, "Going behind", 2020). Analizzano la parte razionale (ad esempio, "Mental selfportrait", 2013) ed irrazionale (ad esempio, "Shout", 2013) di me. Condannano con forza la violenza sulle donne (ad esempio, "Violated", 2013) e sui migranti (ad esempio, "Migrant", 2018).
